WHO WE ARE: The KI ECC Parent Association (ECCPA) is a warm and inclusive group made up of parents who want to make a difference in our school and have fun while doing it! Our primary responsibilities include:

  • Work together to support various ECC Programs
  • Provide programing for parents to educate and build community
  • Promote the culture of the school

MONTHLY MEETINGS: We rely on the support of all our families and highly encourage PA participants to attend monthly meetings to:

  • Connect with other parents
  • Be social and discuss ECC happenings
  • Hear ongoing PA initiatives and priorities
  • Provide feedback

The parent association is our vehicle for sharing your information and ideas on ways to maintain – and improve – positive experiences in the ECC. All feedback is welcome and encouraged!

WHAT WE DO: With the guidance of our ECCPA President, our parents are a valued resource at KI and we welcome their on-going enthusiasm, support and commitment to help maintain a thriving school community. The PA supports a variety of events and programs throughout the year including:

  • Back to school picnics
  • Tot Shabbat
  • Parent Social
  • Religious Holiday Events
  • Fundraising
  • Family Day
  • Classroom volunteering

Family involvement within our community is a long time tradition and one of our greatest strengths. You have talent and we can put it to good use! You can join the ECCPA and serve as a committee chair, or volunteer to help on any number of committees throughout the year. There are volunteer opportunities in the classrooms as well as many that can be done from the convenience of your own home. We strive to make it inclusive and fun for everyone! Through community work and with social interaction we build lifelong friendships, develop a sense of community and enhance our children’s education.
